Each month, Crumbl Cookies recognizes outstanding students and staff at Bethel Park High School with a series of awards, including Student of the Month Awards for one student at each high school grade level. They also recognize the top vocational students and staff who go above and beyond to make Bethel Park High School a special place to learn and work.

Bethel Park High School senior Ella Milliken has been named the Bethel Park Rotary Club's April 2025 Student of the Month, a recognition of her exceptional academic performance, strong leadership, and tireless dedication to fostering inclusion within her school and community.

Independence Middle School (IMS) recognizes outstanding students monthly through its Student of the Month program. The program honors those who excel academically, demonstrate leadership, or contribute positively to the school and community.

For the first time in school history, Bethel Park High School is celebrating an extraordinary milestone: four members of the Class of 2025 have received appointments to United States service academies — three to the U.S. Naval Academy and one to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point — a rare and remarkable achievement for any high school in the nation.

Throughout April, Bethel Park School District has demonstrated its commitment to inclusivity and support for families of children with autism as part of Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month.

Bethel Park elementary students took their coding skills to the next level by participating in a special computer science session after completing Unit 2 of the Exploring Programming course through Carnegie Mellon University’s Computer Science Academy with Python.

The Bethel Park School District has announced several key administrative appointments for the 2025-26 school year, reflecting its commitment to strong leadership and continued educational excellence.

Jacob Cunningham, a third grader from Memorial Elementary, was honored as the MVP for his age group after training at the prestigious Real Madrid Academy in Spain, where he impressed coaches with his soccer skills. His week included practicing at elite facilities, touring Madrid, attending a Real Madrid match, and earning a full scholarship to the summer training camp in Pittsburgh.

Each month, Crumbl Cookies partners with Bethel Park High School to recognize outstanding students and staff through awards such as Student of the Month, Vocational Student of the Month, Extra Effort Awards, and Staff Member of the Month. Honorees are nominated by staff and peers and selected by Principal Joseph Villani and his committee or the student leadership team. Winners receive a certificate, a Bethel Park t-shirt, a $15 gift card, and a free Crumbl cookie in recognition of their achievements and contributions.

Independence Middle School’s FCCLA Chapter achieved outstanding success at the 2024-2025 Pennsylvania State Leadership Conference, earning multiple gold, silver, and bronze medals in STAR Event categories. Their achievements have secured them a spot on the STAR Events National Team, where they will represent Bethel Park in Orlando, Florida, this July.
