Crumbl Cookies has announced its May 2026 Students of the Month. The honorees receive a certificate acknowledging their contribution to their school and community and a Bethel Park t-shirt. They also receive a $15 gift card and a free cookie from Crumbl Cookies.

Bethel Park School District has again been named one of the NAMM Foundation’s Best Communities for Music Education, recognizing its sustained commitment to providing high-quality music access and instruction for all students. The honor places the district among about 1,000 school systems nationwide and reflects strengths in funding, programming, participation, and performance opportunities across all grade levels.

Bethel Park High School senior Tommy Bruney was named the April 2026 Rotary Student of the Month, recognized for balancing a 4.1 GPA, varsity lacrosse, and an elite BMX racing career highlighted by a USA Cycling national championship.

IMS eighth-graders Addisyn Voytko, Brielle Schafer, and Juliette Hall have received the National Junior Honor Society Outstanding Achievement Award, a national honor recognizing excellence in scholarship, service, leadership, character and citizenship.

IMS recognized a group of students and staff as its monthly Crumbl Cookies Students and Staff of the Month, honoring those who demonstrate excellence in and out of the classroom.

Bethel Park High School Principal Raquel Sutton has earned her doctorate in leadership and administration after successfully defending her dissertation on how school leaders influence the implementation of restorative practices.

Bethel Park High School Honors and AP German students earned 16 awards on the 66th annual National German Exam, competing against 12,000 students nationwide.

Bethel Park High School freshman Michael Koontz won the Goethe Institute's "Step into German" Award of Excellence, earning a two-week, all-expenses-paid German language program in Obertauern, Austria, this summer.

Bethel Park High School German students earned six awards at the AATG Three Rivers German Day Competition on April 9 at Washington & Jefferson College, the most of any participating school. Junior Victoria Carberry led the way with top finishes in multiple art categories, while other students placed in writing and academic competitions.
