In a notable recognition of academic excellence, Lyla Walsh, a senior; Grace Perdziola, a junior; and Gillian Uhl, a sophomore, have each earned Certificates of Merit for their outstanding performance in math and science.

Each month, Crumbl Cookies recognizes outstanding students and staff at Bethel Park High School with a series of awards, including Student of the Month Awards for one student at each high school grade level. They also recognize the top vocational students and staff who go above and beyond to make Bethel Park High School a special place to learn and work.

Independence Middle School recognized its top academic achievers during the 2024-2025 Academic Excellence Recognition Program held on June 5.

Several Bethel Park High School students earned national recognition for their performance on the 2024 National Spanish Exam, placing in the 50th percentile or higher among more than 80,000 participants nationwide.

Bethel Park High School senior Lyla Walsh has been named a 2025 University of Florida National Merit Scholarship recipient, an honor awarded in partnership with the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. Walsh will attend the Gainesville-based university this fall.

Independence Middle School recognized the academic achievements, leadership, and school spirit of its eighth-grade students during its annual awards ceremony held on Thursday, June 5.

Bethel Park High School proudly celebrated the outstanding achievements of its students during the 2025 Awards & Recognition Program, an annual tradition that recognizes excellence in academics, athletics, leadership, and service. The event brought together students, families, educators, and representatives from community organizations who awarded scholarships and honors to deserving seniors and juniors.

The Athletic Department of Bethel Park High School recently held its 16th Annual College-Bound Student Athlete Recognition Reception, honoring 32 seniors who will continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level next year. The event celebrated the dedication and achievements of these student-athletes as they prepare to take their talents to colleges and universities across the country.

The Bethel Park School District has approved a new three-year agreement with its transportation staff, represented by District Council 84 of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME).

Members of Bethel Park High School’s Class of 2025 will take a nostalgic walk down memory lane during special “Senior Clap-Out” events at their former elementary schools on June 10 and 11.
