First-grade students in Ms. Jenna Hermann's class at Bethel Park Elementary School took their learning outside recently for the Fable/Folktale Olympics, a celebration marking the completion of the first CKLA Knowledge Unit.
Students played games reviewing story morals, vocabulary, and character traits from the unit's fables and folktales, using the new school's outdoor classroom for the first time.
