Bethel Memorial Elementary School Student Trains at Real Madrid Academy in Spain

Jacob Cunningham, a third grader from Memorial Elementary School, had an extraordinary experience last week as he participated in a Real Madrid Academy Training camp in Spain.

Cunningham, who had previously attended a Real Madrid camp in the summer, was invited to train in Madrid after impressing coaches with his skills. During his week abroad, he practiced at the prestigious Real Madrid training facilities, toured the city, and visited the iconic soccer stadiums in the area.

A highlight of his trip was attending a thrilling match between Real Madrid and Leganes.

Cunningham's outstanding performance earned him the title of Most Valuable Player (MVP) for the 2014-2015 age group. As a reward for his achievements, he has been invited to return for the summer training camp in Pittsburgh on a full scholarship.

Congratulations to Jacob on this remarkable accomplishment!
